Standard Chartered Half-Marathon Indonesia 2011

Run For A Reason

[EN] Standard Chartered Bank is organizing a half-marathon (21K) and a 10K run events in Ragunan, Jakarta on Sunday, 30th October 2011 with the theme: Run For A Reason. It’s a charity run to support Seeing is Believing, a global initiative to help tackle avoidable blindness. The initiative is a collaboration between Standard Chartered Bank and International Agency for Prevention of Blindness (IAPB). Acara tersebut diselenggarakan untuk mendukung program Seeing is Believing, inisiatif global untuk membantu dalam menghadapi masalah kebutaan yang dapat dihindari. Inisiatif tersebut adalah kolaborasi antara Standard Chartered Bank dan International Agency for Prevention of Blindness (IAPB). [EN] This is the finish line of the 5K run, at 41 minutes and 11 seconds after the start. It drizzled which was good for the runners as it cooled them off, but it wasn’t good for photographers as we had to keep our cameras dry.

[ID] Ini adalah garis finish untuk lomba 5K tsb, pada waktu 41 menit 11 detik dari awalnya. Sedikit gerimis, baik untuk pelari-pelarinya karena membuat mereka segar kembali, tetapi tidak baik untuk fotografer karena kami harus menjaga kameranya tetap kering.

[EN] It must feel great to be able to run 5K. The girl in yellow is only a few metres away from the finish line. A great accomplishment for the day.

[ID] Alangkah enaknya bisa lari 5K. Perempuan berpakaian kuning ini hanya tinggal beberapa meter saja dari garis akhir. Keberhasilan yang sangat baik untuk hari ini.

[EN] I’m taking you back to the start of the run. I like this image as people were getting ready for the run, but they seem to be in happy relaxed mood.
