[EN] Segarra Ancol is a restaurant, but it is most often rented out instead of opened for public. The management calls it a club house, likely for the reason that it is often for rent. People rent it mostly for weddings. It is opened for public when there is a special time in the year, like Valentine’s Day.

My friends, Nathan and Rika, had a wedding there a couple of years ago. It was a party at night and the ambience of the club house was perfect, dimly lit with the distinct sea-side environment. The choices of dishes were wide ranged and they were real delight to the taste buds.

Directions: As you enter the east entrance of Ancol, you turn to the right. As you pass A&W and McDonald’s, you should go further east. You will eventually see a large gong, and you should go further east to the end of the recreational complex. Segarra Ancol is located on the most east part of the Ancol complex. It is right by the sea-side where you can enjoy the sight of the sea, smell it and feel the relaxing sea breeze. Next to Segarra Ancol, there is a restaurant called Jimbaran (a name of a famous beach area in Bali).

Segarra Ancol adalah sebuah restoran, tetapi restoran ini lebih sering disewakan daripada dibuka untuk umum. Manajemennya menyebutnya ‘club house’, mungkin karena tempat ini lebih sering disewakan. Pada umumnya, orang menyewa tempat ini untuk pernikahan. Tempat ini buka untuk umum diwaktu yang spesial seperti Hari Valentine.

Teman saya, Nathan dan Rika menikah disitu beberapa tahun yang lalu. Pesta pada malam itu mempunyai ambience yang sempurna dengan lighting yang redup dengan lingkungan pantai yang nyaman. Pilihan-pilihan makanannya juga banyak dan sangat enak.

Petunjuk arah: Diwaktu memasuki pintu gerbang timur Ancol, anda belok kekanan. Bila melihat A&W dan McDonald’s, tetap saja melaju kearah timur. Nanti akan ketemu dengan gong besar dan tetap saja melaju kearah timur sampai sekitar ujung dari kompleks rekreasi Ancol. Segarra Ancol memang berada diareal paling timur dari Ancol. Lokasinya dipinggir laut dimana kita dapat menikmati pemandangan laut, mencium bau laut dan merasakan sepoi-sepoi angin laut yang membawakan kenyamanan dan atmosfir yang rileks. Disamping Segarra Ancol, ada restoran Jimbaran (nama salah satu area pantai yang terkenal di Bali).
