[EN] The dragon boat event at Ancol was started with the presence of celebrities. The celebrities took up the front seat as the drummer on each boat. Here’s a photo of Nycta Gina acting as the drummer of one of the dragon boats. Nycta Gina is an Indonesian comedian. She has a degree in medicine, but has been successful in becoming a comedian in the world of entertainment in Indonesia.
[ID] Acara perahu naga di Ancol dimulai dengan adanya selebriti. Para selebriti duduk dikursi depan perahu naga sebagai penabuh. Ini adalah foto dari Nycta Gina yang sedang berlagak sebagai penabuh. Nycta Gina adalah pelawak Indonesia. Dia adalah sarjana kedokteran, tetapi sudah berhasil menjadi pelawak pada dunia hiburan Indonesia.

[EN] I was hoping to see dragon boat race just like the one they have in Singapore, but this was the first time Ancol held such event, so I shouldn’t have expected it to be like the one in Singapore. But it has to start some time, and there is always no better time than now.
They had to make it a fun event first, so they invited some celebrities (one of them is Nycta Gina – see next post). They seem to be sponsored by TransTV. The celebrities were sitted at the front of the boats supposedly handling the drum.
[ID] Saya berharap untuk melihat balapan perahu naga seperti yang di Singapura, tetapi ini adalah pertama kali Ancol mengadakan acara ini, jadi saya mestinya tidak berharap akan melihat race yang seperti di Singapura. Tetapi memang harus dimulai dan untuk memulai tidak ada waktu yang lebih baik daripada sekarang.
Acara tersebut perlu dibuat fun lebih dahulu, jadi mereka mendatangkan selebriti (salah satunya adalah Nycta Gina – lihat post berikut ini). Sepertinya mereka disponsori oleh TransTV. Selebriti-selebriti tersebut duduk dibagian depan perahu naga untuk berpura-pura menabuh genderang.
