Rugby 7's 2011 - Indonesia Women's Team

[EN] My daughter and her team mates of the Indonesia Rugby 7s Women’s Team flew to Singapore this morning to play in the SCC International Rugby 7s Tournament 2011.

The matches for the women’s teams will be held at The Padang from Friday, 4th November to Saturday, 5th November 2011.

The men’s Rugby 7s tournament will be held from 4th to 6th of November 2011 at The Padang, and there will be 24 teams from 12 countries, including Indonesia, Australia, Singapore, France and Japan. Find more information about The SCC 7s here.

[ID] Anak perempuan saya dan teman-teman dari tim wanita Rugby 7s Indonesia terbang ke Singapura pagi ini untuk bermain di SCC International Rugby 7s Tournament 2011.

Pertandingan untuk tim wanita akan diselenggarakan di The Padang pada hari Jum’at, 4 Nopember dan Sabtu, 5 Nopember 2011.

Turnamen pria akan dilaksanakan dari tanggal 4 sampai dengan 6 Nopember di The Padang, dan akan diikuti oleh 24 tim dari 12 negara, termasuk Indonesia, Australia, Singapura, Perancis dan Jepang. Untuk informasi mengenai The SCC 7s klik disini.

The captain of Team China is feeling so proud. His team won against Team Guam and the score was 28 – 18.

The rugby union match was part of the Asia 5 Nations Division 3. Team China became the winner of the Division. As a result of their winning, they will be playing in Division 2 next year. The rugby union match was played in the UPH Stadium, Karawaci, Jakarta. (UPH stands for the University of Pelita Harapan, a private university in Jakarta).
